Circle K Performance Horses, LLC is located 40 miles southwest of Kansas City. A full service facility specializing in the training of reining horses, Circle K is home to professional trainer Beverly King, and her husband Jim, who manages operations. Lessons in western riding and reining are available for all ages and skill levels. We maintain a number of well trained, broke horses that enable students to receive the most benefit possible from their lessons. Students not only learn to ride but to ride safely; handle and maintain a horse and its environment. We have limited availability for foaling horses (we fill early) that are monitored via camera. Bev specializes in training and showing futurity and Derby horses for NRHA competition.
Bev started her reining career in 2000, and after turning pro in 2005, she has proved to be a talented trainer and show hand with numerous wins to her credit. Bev has enjoyed success in the Open including winning at the Tulsa Ariat Classic and a Palomino World Open Championship in 2007 aboard Shiners Whiz Kid. In 2009, she piloted Wright On Whiz to sweep all Open divisions at the 2009 Ariat Tulsa Reining Classic. Jim also spends a lot of time in the saddle, often roping or starting ground work on the two year olds.
